The Child Dental Benefit Schedule will continue in 2018, providing eligible children with access to a benefit of $1000 for eligible dental services.

The CDBS provides individuals benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontics or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

The CDBS continues to be means tested, which requires of Family Tax Benefit Part A or a relevant Australian Government payment. T & C Apply.
